PDP update

In the last few weeks I have been completing my website I have put interactive features onto my website which before I started this unit of work I didn't know how to complete this task.

To complete this task I had to place a picture onto my website through photoshop then I had to save it. The next step I took is I opened up Dreamweaver and linked the picture I had previously placed on my webpage through photoshop to the other piece of work I would like it to open. I completed this twice I did it once for my form which i had made to go onto my system maintenance page I used an image which was an F inside of a circle to show that it is a form, the second i did was a flash slideshow which was being placed on the operating page I used a picture of a television to show it was some type of media work.

PDP update part 7

In this update i will be telling you how i have got over my weakness for unit 28 the website unit.

One of my weaknesses was not being able to put the information I need on my website in the right places i have overcome this weakness by putting all my information into different text boxes and place them where i wanted on each of my webpage. I did have difficulty to overcome this weakness of mine because at first i put all my information into one text box and tried to move all the text around it didnt work because all the text would move which is not what i wanted, but then i learnt how to get different text boxes up and put all my information into different text boxes.

Personal Update Part 3

In this last week I have learnt how to instal things onto the computer correctly which I could never do before I started this unit of work about a computer software which I have also learnt about which I never knew before this unit of work.

In this of IT i have completed my pages so now i have six pages with all the different topics on so now i need to just make my buttons and slice my pages which shouldnt take me too long all my pages have a lot of information so the audience should learn a bit from it.

Another PDP Update

In the last few weeks I have been getting on with my website for In The Know and I have done 5 pages full of text which is all of my pages done they are:

• My Home Page.
• Hardware Components.
• Operating System.
• Software Utilities.
• System Maintenance.

I also did a template page which shown me where to put the buttons on each page and how to set out each of my pages, which really helped.

I have also made an interactive feature for my website which was a video with information on which needs to be on my website and it gets the reader involved who is reading the website.

All I need to do now for my website is make my buttons and link all the pages together, which shouldn't take too long because putting all the information on the pages was the longest procedure I have had to do so far.

PDP update- website

In the last couple of weeks I have been making my website for unit 28 so far I have made a template for my website so I know how my website will be set out, also I have made a banner for the top of my website with the website name on, I have also made the logo.  

Part two

In my personal development plan i put my unit 28 weaknesses down and from then i have work on them because i now i know how to put all the information and get them into the right places so this means i have got a bit further in my personal development plan
